The Surgun Photo Club is a photo club established in a parisian suburb at the beginning of 70’s. It was composed of exiles.
The club remained active till 2003.
Close to mysticism or magical researches, all their works were attempts to find within images some new possibilities of divination. They wanted to “find some images to get through exile” (as said to me one of the few witnesses I’ve met).
Since 2011, I’m working around the Surgun photo club.
