Souleymane Bassoko is a stretcher-bearer at the Avicenne hospital in Bobigny and a late secretary for Surgün. For the time being, although he has sent me a few messages, he doesn’t want to meet me. He has even tried to dissuade me from looking too deeply into Surgün’s affairs, without formally forbidding it. So I’ve had very little information about his life and work in Surgün. All I know is that he got into trouble for using medical equipment (X-rays, MRI, fluorography, etc.) for personal purposes.
