Fading Eden

One evening at the Club, L.M. spotted Lev frantically turning the television on and off. From this short anecdote, I thought he was trying to capture the afterimage, the ghost of the disappearing image. I made an editing of different shots from westerns where nature appears for itself, without any human trace. These images are frequently cut with black. The camera is trying to capture something. From time to time an image is printed: often black, sometimes with reflections, spectres, a melancholy production line for a lost paradise.
