For a solo exhibition, I proposed a series of works that question the photographic ephemeral: images of butterflies (photographed in the Walden replica in Concord) coated with chemicals, a jpg image taken in an automatic recording loop that paradoxically leads to its destruction (the star jpeg format is destructive), a photographic dissection table that evolves along the way…
